Resident Survey: A survey to learn how residents recreate and what facilities and programs they feel are most needed.

Visitor Survey: State Park Visitors were surveyed to assess state park visitor and trip characteristics, motivations and benefits of visiting state parks, opinions on state park facilities, services and management actions, and level of participation in programs.

Trail Gap Study: Trail organizations of major greenways and trails across the Commonwealth were asked to identify critical gaps in the statewide trail system and key issues and priorities related to trail development.

Urban Use and Baby Boomer Survey: Facilitated interviews with urban youth and members of the Baby Boomer generation were conducted to identify their perceived outdoor recreation needs and priorities.
