Technical Advisory Committee
For the update of the Pennsylvania Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan the Commonwealth created a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) composed of state agencies and organizations with a vested interest in the outdoor recreation estate of Pennsylvania and who represent agencies that can bring resources to the planning, funding and implementation of the plan.

The TAC:
• Helped clarify goals and objectives;
• Identified roles and responsibilities for each agency;
• Prioritized data collection needs and reviewed survey instruments;
• Established 32 recommendations and 98 action items contained in the plan’s implementation section.

The TAC will continue to guide and track the implementation of the plan over the next five years.
